Course Subsidy Extended
The FSOA is delighted to announce that the cost of attending its prestigious Event & Matchday Safety Management course has been reduced.
With immediate effect, FSOA members can once more benefit from special subsidised rates when attending the course.
'We see this as a major steps forward' commented FSOA Chairman, John Rutherford. 'The course has been designed by members, for members and it is important that members are not excluded from attending on the grounds of cost. The subsidy means that Safety Officers and Deputies at all levels of the game will be able to benefit from the knowledge gained and development achieved whilst attending the course.'
The level of subsidy is dependent on the league status of each member's club but means that the full course is available for as little as £500.00.

The FSOA Event and Matchday Safety Management Course was developed in 2002. Since then over 200 safety officers and deputies have successfully negotiated the training and have been granted completion certificates. The course has been run in Scotland and Ireland and has also been adapted to suit the particular needs of other sports.
