THE BIG DAY OUT

The Football League has arranged a series of one-day seminars during July 2009 to examine and discuss the effectiveness of its ‘Enjoy The Match’ campaign and the issues surrounding unaccompanied children who attend matches.

The FSOA supports the League’s initiative and would encourage safety officers at Football League clubs to attend one of the events.  In addition to safety officers, the Football League has sent invitations to Club Secretaries and Ticket Office Managers.  Where possible, the FSOA will also be present.

Seminar dates and venues are:

Wednesday 15 July - Wycombe Wanderers FC

Thursday 16 July - Bristol City FC

Tuesday 21 July - Bury FC

Wednesday 22 July - Sheffield Wednesday FC

Please note the changes to the original dates for the seminars at Bury and Sheffield Wednesday

The seminars are free and places should be reserved in advance by telephoning Pat Brown at the Football League on 0844 826 9222 or by email to pbrown@football-league.co.uk
