ICTS-GIS the canine division of ICTS (UK) Ltd, recently joined the FSOA and were proud to be sponsors of the AGM Dinner in March 2009.
ICTS is a full security service and safety supplier – we offer our clients:
We are equally capable of taking over existing systems, providing clients with a single source of experts who will support, manage and maintain security systems.
ICTS – world leaders in the delivery of effective security and safety solutions.
The presence of explosive dog teams delivers reassurance to officials, players and fans as well as providing a high profile deterrent and evidence of enhanced due diligence. This provides a quick and effective screening method to check vehicles and luggage with the added value of a ‘first response’ mechanism to attend suspect items.
Safety Officers, Stadium & Security Managers should ensure that any search dogs provider is properly licensed and is ACPO (Association Of Chief Police Officers) compliant in training and operations. This will ensure that the service will be acceptable to the Police and (CTSA) Counter Terrorist Security Advisors, operating seamlessly by complimenting current security measures in place with the reassurance in the unlikely event of an incident and importantly withstand the scrutiny of a ‘post incident’ investigation with a full audit trail.
All ICTS-GIS traditional ‘drug’ and ‘explosive’ dogs and handlers are trained at Home Office accredited police dog training schools. They are required to attain the same ACPO standards as Police Officers and operate to ACPO compliant procedures. Satellite teams, working from strategic locations around the country, receive fully documented continuation training and attend refresher courses to ensure high standards are constantly maintained. Four of the ICTS-GIS team are ACPO accredited trainers with many years of ‘hands on’ operational experience.
ICTS-GIS have gained experience in the stadia environment working at key sporting locations throughout the UK including Lords, The Oval, Headingly, Edgbaston, and Sheffield Wednesday.
We operate a recognised procedure of pre-deployment risk assessment, establishment of protocols and a preferential team deployment rate for the delivery of a pre-match search programmes and in-play presence for FSOA members. We do not charge by the hour but a daily / evening rate for up to eight hours operational deployment.
FSOA Chairman, John Rutherford, Head of Safety & Security at Sheffield Wednesday has experienced first-hand the use of our services and would be happy to discuss our capability and service delivery with you.
In addition, we offer a similar programme for the delivery of drug searches; consisting of a pro-active area, vehicle and luggage search, and/or passive screening of those entering the stadium. This delivers a high value deterrent and clear message to dealers and users that drugs will not be tolerated in or around the stadium environment.
Last year ICTS-GIS, officially launched a new (CORTC) Combined Operations, Research and Training Centre near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. The facility represents in excess of £1,000,000 of investment over recent years introducing a range of canine services. We would be pleased to host a visit by you and or colleagues to see first hand the quality of support facilities we deliver to our clients.
As an FSOA Member and preferential client we would like to offer you in the first instance an opportunity to experience first hand a demonstration to you and your security team. I will contact you shortly with a view to agreeing a mutually agreeable date for you to take up our offer.
In the meantime should you have any operational requests or queries please contact our Operations Manager, Jed Marshall, on 07825430190.
