Despite 10 people testing positive out of 1058 across the Championship clubs, it is understood that domestic football’s toughest division is looking to conclude its competition. On various media outlets this morning, there seemed to be opposition to this date from the ownership of Queens Park Rangers, whose CEO Lee Hoos stated he was “vehemently opposed” to the restart of the Championship. The date is also said to have shocked QPR Director of Football, Les Ferdinand and also Manager Mark Warburton.

He believes he is not the only dissenting voice, but as at this morning was the only one to share his view. QPR would refer at least another week.
