Ross County v Livingston – a 300 “crowd” successPeter Houghton
Ross county appear to be the “darlings” of Scottish football right now. Their match against reigning champions Celtic on 12 September was selected as a test event, as the Highlands and Islands is very low down in the table of Covid-19 threat.
So last friday, 6 November they were once again allowed to have a crowd of 300 for their match with Livingston.
It is a more than welcome starting block for the projrcted restart with spectators, whenever that is likely to be. Indeed, no real clues were given for a pathway back to that in last evening’s Parliamentary debate.
By all accounts everything went well, proving yet again the resilience of our colleagues on both sides of the border is one that can deal with whatever challenges are sent our way. Well done Ross county!
