Terrorism Threat Level Returns to SEVEREPeter Houghton
During the month of November and following on from a number of incidents largely in France, the Terrorist threat level in the UK has been moved up to SEVERE. This means that an attack is highly likely, although we have no specific intelligence to follow the “Ws”, Why? What? Where? When? Which? (and How?)
In many ways this is a return to “business as usual” as although the threat level was reduced to “substantial” in 2019, I don’t think any safety officers eased their foot off the pedal
Independent Member Michael Moody keeps the FSOA posted on these situations and has received a notification from the Emergency Planning College.
