THIS POST IS OFFERED ON A ZERO HOUR / CASUAL CONTRACT
Location
THE HAWTHORNS STADIUM, WEST BROMWICH B74 4LF
Main Purpose
To assist and support the Stadium Safety Management Team in ensuring, as far as reasonably practical, the safety of everyone attending events at the Hawthorns, in accordance with the Safety Certificate terms and conditions, Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds and the Club’s Policy Statement of Safety.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Commence duties at the time stipulated by the Match Day Safety Manager. Equip yourself with your personal radio and be present in the Safety Suite at the time stipulated (Three hours prior to KO)
Check all CCTV Cameras are in working Order and recording capabilities are functioning correctly.
Deputise for the Radio Operator, when they need to leave the Safety Suite, and assist radio operator in the pre match build up to the event.
Using CCTV, monitor stewards completing their pre match checks, and bring to the attention of the Stadium Safety Manager, any poor practice or irregularities observed.
Using CCTV, ensure that the Exit Gate stewards are in position and that they carry out their instructions promptly.
Using CCTV, identify persons allegedly breaking the law/breaching ground regulations; advise the Stadium Safety Manager to enable police/match day staff to identify offenders. Do not deploy or seek to deploy resources without the express permission of Stadium Safety Manager.
Using CCTV, monitor incidents within the crowds, produce still images of persons identified allegedly breaking the law/breaching ground regulations; provide those images to police/match day stewards to enable them to deal with the incidents more effectively.
During the event, monitor the immediate confines of the stadium, to identify late arrivals and other incidents of note external to the stadium.
Carry out any specific instructions given by the Stadium Safety Manager.
At the conclusion of the event, monitor all external areas to check egress of spectators form the area.
At the end of duty back up CCTV footage, power down CCTV Items, and switch off recording to computer hard drive.
The carry out all responsibilities with due regard to the Club values and policies and procedures, in particular Health & Safety, Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding
To undertake any required training for the role including mandatory Club training
